Eight Nigerian states on HIGH ALERT!


FG has advised Kogi, Nasarawa, Adamawa, Taraba, Benue, Anambra, Bayelsa, and Delta, prepare for potential flooding. 


The Cameroon's Lagdo Dam is set to discharge excess water which could impact a lot of neighbouring states.


— The National Orientation Agency (NOA), has, promptly, ordered immediate ward-to-ward sensitization campaigns. 


— The agency will share safety measures, emergency contacts, floodplain maps, and impact points. 


📌 The FG is urging residents to evacuate coastal communities NOW!


📌 The FG will establish emergency food banks and medical facilities to cater for emergency needs.


📌 There are cogent plans ensure uninterrupted education for children of the flood-troubled communities 


Here is urging States and LGAs to TAKE ACTION and 

Implement risk-mitigation measures. They must endeavour to collaborate with experts.

NETANYAHU TO ADDRESS UN AMID RISING MIDDLE EAST TENSIONS

  Amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address the United Nations General Assembly next week. He will depart for New York next Tuesday to meet with world leaders on the sidelines of the assembly followed by his address on Friday afternoon.
